First three and a half months of 2010 have been great. Highlights include Asphalt Orchestra sold out at Lincoln Center Atrium; two performances with the Dirty Projectors and Alarm Will Sound at Lincoln Center and Walt Disney Hall; Tel Aviv Jazz Festival with Gutbucket; loads of work with Signal including really getting into the music of Helmut Lachenmann - on tour with the legendary German experimentalist for a week; debuting Philip Glass's Glassworks in NYC; and more.

Some news:

The debut CD of my own project Slow/Fast will be released this September on Intuition Records internationally! This is very exciting and hopefully we'll be doing some shows surrounding this.

Gutbucket will be stepping into the studio in May - with Ethel to record our octet material - and on our own to record our (!!) fifth CD. And World/Inferno will be back in the studio also.

Asphalt Orchestra picks up again for the summer and I'll be back at the Bang on a Can Summer Festival.
